About me
I joined the Chatter Lab in summer 2025 after graduating with my Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Cornell University. At Cornell, I worked as a graduate student researcher in the Eleanor J. Gibson Laboratory of Developmental Psychology (B.A.B.Y. Lab) with Dr. Michael Goldstein. My Master’s thesis focuses on understanding infant–caregiver dyadic coordination of multimodal communication and how these interactions afford opportunities for language development. Prior to Cornell, I received my Bachelor’s degree with majors in Cognitive Studies and Chemistry from Vanderbilt University. During undergrad, I worked in Dr. Lisa Fazio’s Building Knowledge Lab and Dr. Megan Saylor’s Language Development Lab. Here at the Chatter Lab, I’m involved in projects investigating the co-development of interactional and linguistic competence in children through experimental and observational methods.
